Angels In Disguise
Our very name, Angelwings, bespeaks protection, care, love. And our files overflow with letters from families who attest to the angelic care their loved ones receive.
Yet, angelic as our staff may be, we require down-to-earth training and experience. Each staff member is carefully screened, backgrounds and references are checked and each caregiver must meet strict state requirements:
- Certified Nursing Assistant or Home Care Aid
- Qualified Background Checks and Fingerprint
- Valid First Aid and CPR
- TB test
- Food Handlers Permit
- Nurse Delegation and Nurse Delegation for Diabetes
- Dementia Specialty Training Certificate
- Mental Health Training Certificate
- Twelve or more hours of Continuing Education related to caregiving
Our Resident Managers meet all those requirements, plus AFH Administrative Training approved by DSH and obtained through a Community College Program.
"Thank you to the Angels of the House who lovingly cared for my mom with respect, gentleness and integrity."
